Covid-19 guidance for visitors to our Belfast office
We request that all visitors maintain a 1.5 metre distance while in the Boat building.
Please adhere to all Covid-19 signage in the Boat building.
If you start to develop a temperature while in the office or do not feel completely well at any time, please leave the office and ensure you tell your escort to ensure this is recorded.
There are two lifts in the Boat building, each with a maximum capacity of one person.
The front door to the Boat building will open automatically when you buzz the British Council offices for access using the external wall keypad.
Stairs are available to use – the British Council office is on the 7th floor.
Government advice does not require people to wear face masks, but we do advise wearing a face mask while moving around in the communal areas in the building.
A hand sanitiser station is in the foyer of the Boat building and in all meeting rooms which you are encouraged to use.
If evacuating in the event of an emergency, visitors are not required to stay 1.5m apart if that would be unsafe. If you hear the alarm, please head to the nearest exit via the available evacuation routes. Evacuation muster point is in front of the Albert Clock.
You will be asked to sign a Covid-19 self-declaration sheet on arrival.
The site has 24/7 security and CCTV for your safety.
We welcome visitors with disabilities and those bringing pushchairs. If you need help with access, or have any questions, please let us know. Find out more about our offices and getting here below:
