Every year we host a number of international study visits (ISV) in Northern Ireland to inspire new approaches to teaching across the curriculum.

Parental Engagement with Schools

WHEN: Thursday, 6 February, 16:00-18.00, Antrim

WHERE: Education Authority, Antrim Board Centre, 17 Lough Road, Antrim BT41 4DH

Hosted by Rachael McLaughlin: For our 2019 study visit, we travelled to Miami, Florida to learn more about parental engagement with schools. In Miami, they have a unique setting in that they have “Parent Academies” and as a group, we were very excited to get to know more about how they facilitate parents to take active roles in their child’s education. 

Come along and learn more about this. The workshop will be led by:
