Join us for this year’s Northern Ireland International School Award Ceremony at Titanic Belfast on Tuesday, 9th October. This free event is open to all primary and post-primary teachers and can help them learn more about adding an international element to education and hear best practice examples from other colleagues.
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Mr Derek Baker, Permanent Secretary of the Department of Education. The audience will also hear from the 2018 ISA awardees on how they have embedded the international dimension in their school. A more informal marketplace of information on British Council programmes and drinks reception will provide a networking opportunity after the ceremony.

First Steps in eTwinning – Bilateral Seminar
15 – 17 November 2018, Belfast, UK
A bilateral seminar for eTwinning beginners from the UK and Ireland. Participants will be supported to create and register new collaborative eTwinning projects.
Target audience: Secondary teachers of pupils aged 11-16
This seminar is in conjunction with Léargas - Apply by 24thSeptember using the eTwinning and Meetings & Training application form.

- Funding for joint projects with partner schools
This session is designed for school staff interested in beginning or enhancing international collaboration and will provide an overview of:
- The opportunities available under Erasmus+ and eTwinning
- The benefits that these opportunities bring for staff, learners, schools and communities
- Guidance on planning applications for funding
You will also have an opportunity to get one-to-one advice from National Agency staff and discuss project ideas.
